Parent Survival is operated by Parent Survival Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered address and company number will be updated when formally incorporated.

2. What information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Your name and email address when you join our waitlist or beta
• Survey responses you submit about your parenting experiences and family circumstances
• Account information if you create a Parent Survival account
• Payment information processed securely via Stripe (we do not store card details)
• Communications you send us

We also collect limited technical information automatically, including:

• Browser type and device information
• How you arrived at our site (referral source)
• Pages visited and time spent on the platform

3. How we use your information

• To provide and improve the Parent Survival platform
• To create your personalised 12-week support plan
• To send you updates about your beta access and the platform launch
• To analyse anonymised, aggregated survey data to understand parenting challenges in the UK
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To respond to your enquiries

4. Survey data

Survey responses are used in two ways:

• Individually: to inform your personalised support plan
• Aggregated and anonymised: to build our understanding of parenting challenges across the UK

We will only use anonymised quotes from your survey responses in published guidance or reports if you have explicitly consented to this at the end of the survey.

Survey responses are never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for purposes other than those described above.

5. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:

• Consent: for survey participation, marketing communications and optional data uses
• Contract: to fulfil your subscription and deliver the platform
• Legitimate interests: to improve our platform and understand how it is used

6. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Supabase: our database provider (data stored in EU region)
• Stripe: for payment processing
• Resend: for transactional email delivery
• Railway: our hosting provider

All third-party providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only as directed by us.

7. Data retention

• Waitlist data: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion
• Survey responses: retained for the duration of the platform and up to 3 years after closure
• Account data: retained while your account is active and for 2 years after closure
• Payment records: retained for 7 years for legal and tax compliance

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Object to processing
• Data portability

10. Children's data

Parent Survival is intended for use by adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. Survey responses about children are provided by the parent or carer completing the survey.

11. Changes to this policy

We will notify registered users of material changes to this policy by email. The current version is always available at this URL.
